For those new to bookkeeping and experienced folks alike! This two-day QuickBooks Desktop course is designed to help entrepreneurs and business managers understand how to best manage money. QuickBooks Pro Advisor Wendy Weissman, owner of Wendy J Weissman, CPA PC in Great Falls, will take you through the foundational elements of the QuickBooks program so you’re more efficient in entering revenue and expenses, and better able to communicate with your accountant come tax time. She’ll also teach you how to get the most out of the program, through reporting, invoicing, and additional functionality.
This course will be split into two sessions.
The first half of each day will be classroom style instruction from 8:30am-12:30pm.
The afternoon of each day will be set aside for 30-minute, one-on-one sessions with Wendy from 1pm-5pm.
The first half of the first day will step through accounting terminology and the basics of the QuickBooks program.
The half of day two will step through the more advanced functions of QuickBooks, such as reporting and additional functionality.
Small Business Development Center Director Jason Nitschke will also help you understand how to use reports to analyze the performance of your business. Staff from the Montana Department of Transportation’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program will be available to discuss business certifications.
