November 19, 2021 @ 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

For those new to bookkeeping and experienced folks alike! This one-day course covering the QuickBooks Online platform is designed to help entrepreneurs and business managers understand how to best manage money. QuickBooks Pro Advisor Wendy Weissman, owner of Wendy J Weissman, CPA PC in Great Falls, will take you through the foundational elements of the QuickBooks Online program so you’re more efficient in entering revenue and expenses, and better able to communicate with your accountant come tax time. She’ll also teach you how to get the most out of the program, through reporting, invoicing, and additional functionality.

The first half of the day will be classroom style, hands on instruction covering accounting terminology and the basics of the QuickBooks program.

Lunch will be provided as part of the course fee.

The second half the day will step through the more advanced functions of QuickBooks, such as reporting and additional functionality.

Small Business Development Center Director Jason Nitschke will also help you understand how to use reports to analyze the performance of your business. Staff from the Montana Department of Transportation’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program will be available to discuss business certifications.
