Growing Your Business

You’ve started your business – now what?

Growing a business is unique to each and every company, even businesses operating in the same industry. It’s also a question most entrepreneurs ask themselves daily. But where would a person start when trying to answer that question? The answer depends on available opportunities, capital available to help pay for growth, and the customers.

Given the topic is unique to every company, that is why we offer no-cost, one-on-one counseling to help entrepreneurs work through the question by identifying opportunities, ensuring the necessary money is in place to capitalize growth, and to confirm there is a demand in the market.

Our SBDC Business Advisors are eager to connect with you!

Accelerate Your Startup

The goal of Accelerate Your Startup is to help entrepreneurs in the early stages of planning or launching a business to shrink the learning curve. The U.S. Small Business Administration reports that 20% of all businesses close within the first 12 months and 50% only lasting five years. We believe the cohort approach of learning from peers coupled with the action-oriented model of our curriculum will help startups avoid the pitfalls every early stage business will face.

PeerSpectives

Have you grown your business beyond startup and want to scale larger? If you’re like many business owners, you’ve gotten this far by the seat of your pants — with a lot of hard work and sometimes a little luck. Yet to continue to grow your company profitably, you could use some outside help but no class-based curriculum or advisor is likely to know exactly what you’re experiencing. PeerSpectives is a confidential space for peers who’ve been through the same challenges to share their experiences so you can solve todays problems today.
