Great Falls Hospital Completes North Tower
In the Fall of 2023, Great Falls Hospital celebrated the opening of North Hospital Tower. The three-phase $65 million project includes the expansion of the west wing, which was completed in July 2023 and the addition of the hospital tower. The new hospital tower includes a cardiac diagnostic and intervention (Cath lab) suite, a 10-bed intensive care unit (ICU), and a procedural space.
The second floor of the tower includes an 18-bed inpatient medical/surgical unit. The third floor will serve as administrative spaces, but has been set up/shelled to add 18 additional inpatient beds in the future. Phase two involved expanding the west wing to include a new high complexity laboratory, pharmacy space, expanded sterile processing, and two operating rooms.
The total facility footprint of the Great Falls Hospital now sits at 117,800 square feet.
