Great Falls Procurement Technical Assistance Center

The Great Falls Development Authority hosts the Great Falls Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC). We work to support businesses in their efforts to market their goods and services to America’s Armed Forces and other government agencies. Great Falls PTAC is the bridge between government buyers and Montana businesses. Government contracting knowledge combined with knowing the abilities of Montana’s small businesses enables us to maximize the services and products provided to government buyers.

We serve Montana businesses by providing professional and knowledgeable technical assistance to those who currently are or want to participate in the government marketplace. The vast majority of PTAC clients are small businesses which include small disadvantaged, minority-owned, woman-owned, HubZone, Veteran & Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses.

We serve government procurement personnel by connecting them with responsive, qualified suppliers of goods and services. This allows for a timely and effective response to the agency’s requirements and can help the agencies reach their procurement goals. Montana businesses will be educated in the methods, requirements and regulations of government procurement, minimizing time and costs to the agencies. We can work as an intermediary between contracting officers and suppliers to resolve contract problems that may occur during the life of the contract.

To request services, contact Lillian Sunwall, Shannon Clancy, or visit the Montana PTAC Website.

The Great Falls PTAC is part of a national network of dedicated professionals, funded by the Department of Defense and hosted by local organizations that provide match funds. We are part of a network of PTAC Centers contracted with the Montana PTAC. No matter where in Montana your business is located, you can get personal government marketing assistance by visiting MontanaPTAC.org.

Montana PTAC, which serves as a Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), is funded in part through a cooperative agreement from the Department of Defense (DOD) through a program that is administered by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The content of any written materials or verbal communications of the PTAC does not necessarily reflect the official views of or imply endorsement by DOD or DLA.
